Home-Based Business - 5-Step Fool-Proof Success Formula

If you're looking for a simple process you can follow to build your home-based business, this 5-step formula really does work. While it's simple, it can be difficult for some people to implement because it goes against the grain of what they're used to thinking and doing. Not because the steps are difficult, in contrast they are actually not difficult at all.

However, very often we tend to make things more difficult than they need to be. For example, I realized a few years back that I had a "mindset" that said I needed to work hard to make a living, and that I had to "prove" what I had done to justify being paid for my work. Do you think this got in the way of me finding success easily? You BETCHA!

Do not underestimate the power of your own mindset and your limiting beliefs. They can make what should be simple and easy, downright difficult and next to impossible.

The good news is, "it's all in your head" as they say. Not to be flippant, but do realize that a thought in your head can be controlled by you, and simply by focusing on changing your thoughts, you can change your results.

Yes, it does take practice, but it is not difficult.

So here's your 5-Step Formula.

1) Set Your Intentions

You can do this by creating a vision board, or simply creating goals or setting intentions for the year. If you've already done this, now may be a good time to revisit your vision and goals and update if necessary. Once you are clear about what you want, set an intention that you will achieve it. (Don't worry, you don't need to know exactly how you're going to achieve it.)

2) Make a Plan

To the best of your ability, using what knowledge, creativity and resources you have, map out a plan of action steps you believe will move you toward achieving your vision, and making your intentions your reality. Again, don't worry if you don't have all the answers, be creative, make the best plan you can and go with it.

3) Take Consistent Action

Start implementing your plan. Commit to taking action EVERY SINGLE DAY. Even if some days you only take a small action step. Getting into action is the key here. It creates energy and it is what will help you create success. You can't just sit and wait for success to happen to you. Success is what happens while you're out there taking action.

4) Be Open to Inspired Ideas & Taking Inspired Action

A funny thing happens when you start taking consistent action every single day ... you create energy. And energy attracts like energy. So if you're creating energy around building a successful business and reaching your goals, you will start receiving inspired ideas to help you reach those goals.

Your job is to be open to these ideas (for some people they feel like creative ideas that seem to come out of the blue; for others it means hearing about a person or a class that is exactly what they need to move forward).

The best way to recognize an inspired idea is that it just seems to come to you, and it is totally in line with your intentions. Now, a warning - it may not look anything like your plan. That's okay! It probably is an idea that was outside of your awareness when you created your plan, and that's why it's not IN your plan.

Your job is to ascertain if it can get you to your vision, and if you believe it can (and you will KNOW in your gut - and that is what you need to learn to trust), then your job is to take action on this idea. Even if it's scary, inconvenient, or more expensive than you had planned. If that "little voice" is screaming at you that this is an amazing opportunity or coincidence, PAY ATTENTION! It may not ask you twice!

5) Let Go, Trust, and Let it Come To You!

Once you start taking consistent action on your plan and with your inspired ideas, don't look back! Keep moving forward, knowing you are making the best decisions you can every step of the way, with the knowledge and wisdom you currently have, and whatever happens, is there to serve you.

Know that things may not always turn out the way you think they "should" but that they always turn out in a way that will move you forward if you allow it to. Problem is, when we label things as a mistake or failure, we have instantly closed the door to learning HOW they can serve us. When we don't learn in these situations, we don't move forward.

So there you go, your simple 5-Step Foolproof Home-Based Business Success Formula.

Be careful not to let your mind convince you that it can't be that easy. Because it CAN be, if you let it.
